Kingsley Woriji Olumati attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (1975 – 1978) where he obtained a Bachelor of Library Science. He also attended Imo State University Okigwe (1988 – 1990) where he bagged a Masters Degree in Library Science and a PhD in the same field in 2014 from the same Imo State University now in Owerri.
He is a proud holder of other Professional certificates such as AMNIM, FNISM, FCRMI, FIIMN/CDL and was cited in “WHO is WHO” in Nigeria 2003 edition p. 628.
His working experience which spans over 35 years cuts across academic and non-academic spheres such as part time teaching at the tertiary institutions (1983 -1999), Director Akpor Transport Company Ltd. (1992 -1994), Chief Librarian Rivers State College of Education (now Ignatius Ajuru University of Education) Port Harcourt and a host of others. He has over 40 publications to his credit and had attended several in-service trainings.
Sir Olumati has many years experience in Community banking including the Chairman of former Choba Community Bank Ltd. (1998 – 2000) which he brings to bear in the present dispensation. He was the Chairman of U & C MFB Board Credit Committee (BCC) between 2006 and 2015 as well as the current Chairman of the Board’s Risk, Compliance and ICT Monitoring Committee of the Bank.
