Mr. Innocent Barisua Bale (ACA), is the Manager, CCE Branch of U&C Microfinance Bank Ltd. He has an extensive academic background in Accounting, Banking & Finance and Business Management. He studied Accounting at the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori and obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in 1999. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Banking and Finance and a Post Graduate Diploma (PDG) in Business Administration and Management. Mr. Bale also holds a Master of Business Administrations (MBA) degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt and a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt.
Mr. Bale is a Chartered Accountant and consummate professional with membership of several professional institutes spanning Accountancy, Banking and Management. He had his investiture as an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2009. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria having qualified as a Microfinance Certified Banker (MCIB) in 2011.
He has a gleaming pedigree in Accounting, Banking and Auditing. While in U&C MFB Ltd, he has managed the following functional departments: Operations department, Finance/Accounts department, Audit department, Human Resources/Corporate Services. He is also the erstwhile Secretary, Board Credit Committee (BCC). Currently, he is the Secretary, Finance & General Purposes Committee (F&GPC) and Chairman, Budget & Strategic Planning.
Mr. Bale has acquired extensive on the job trainings from CBN, NDIC, ICAN, LAPO Institute for Enterprise Development and Financial Institutions Training Centre Lagos. This has aided his capacity to function as the erstwhile as a resource person and coordinator of staff trainings as well as presentation of seminar papers.
Before his foray into banking, he previously worked as a Senior Audit Officer at Abadi & Co Chartered Accountants, Port Harcourt.
Mr. Bale is a veteran banker and financial analyst with an uncommon passion for excellence.
